About this experience

A cosy, small-group class in a mahjong-themed shop inside a restored heritage building in the heart of Central. You will be guided through the rules and techniques of Cantonese mahjong, a traditional and challenging game of strategy, skill and some luck, on an electronic table provided by the studio. Beyond the basics you will get a feel for the game's depth and the different strategies used to win, and for why it captivates players worldwide. Along the way you will hear the history and traditions behind the game and how it lives on in Hong Kong today, then practise with the group, competitively and sociably.
