The short version: MOKU is not live yet, the listings are demos, and real studios are on the way.
Is MOKU live?
Not yet. This site is a pre-launch preview. We are onboarding Hong Kong studios now and will open bookings at launch.
What are demo listings?
Fictional studios, hosts and ratings created to show how the marketplace will work. They are clearly labelled and do not represent real businesses.
When can I book?
At launch. Until then the booking flow is a preview: it shows how booking will work but takes no payment and makes no reservation.
How will payment work at launch?
Online, at the time of booking, through a payment provider. You will see the full price before you pay. Details will be published before bookings open.
Will there be gift cards?
We plan to offer gift bookings at launch so you can send a class to someone else. Details to follow.
Which languages are supported?
The site is available in English and Traditional Chinese. Each listing shows the languages the class is taught in.
What about cancellations?
Cancellation terms will be set per studio and shown on each listing before you book. Nothing is bookable yet, so no cancellation terms apply during the preview.
Can I book for a private group?
At launch, yes, for studios that offer it. Companies can send a corporate enquiry now and we will reply by email.
I run a workshop. How do I join?
Apply on the partners page. It is free to join, there is no monthly fee, and we only take a commission on bookings we generate.
