Leather Cardholder Workshop

Sham Shui Po is where Hong Kong buys its leather, and this small workshop sits in the middle of it. You will pick a hide colour, cut your pieces with a knife and ruler, punch stitching holes, then learn the two-needle saddle stitch that keeps a wallet together for decades. Edges are bevelled, sanded and burnished by hand. Initials can be stamped at the end.

Second-floor walk-up, no lift. Seated work with sharp tools; ages 14 and up.
